The ultimate wheels for an e21

Post by niall »

So what are people views on the ultimate wheels for an e21.

BBS RS is the obvious choice. I think this would be my pick if i could choose any wheels .

Image
i would probably prefer silver centers rather than gold on a black car though, for some reason i have never liked black and gold together

I have always been a fan of the borbet A. having said that , some days i look at my car from a certain angle and i dont like them, other angles the dish and everything is just perfect.

heres a set of alpina 3 pc wheels that are going on an e9 i think, 16x8, they would be awesome too

I love BBS RS. And black and gold... if I had a black E21 I'd defo go for the full JPS monty lol I love that, could very well be my favorite race car livery of all time

I also, love BBS RS's, Alpina 15" and as a bit of a wildcard the 17" M5 alloys that were on Jeremy's M3 e21. Mind you, most wheels look good in that car!

RS's are great until you have to clean the damned things. I had some RM's on a golf and they drove me mad!

1) use poorboys wheel sealant (2 months renewal)
2) use only a sponge when washing
3) use a microfibre towel to wipe off

thats it...I'm a pig when it comes to cleaning, but I can keep my wheels shiny.
