Re: Mirrors
A matter of personal taste I guess, but I'd keep them unpainted. On an E30 it makes sense, but then the bumpers are usually colour coded to match. On an E21 stock rocks!

Re: Mirrors
I'm not saying it's an absolute rule! It's just for me, that's how an E21 is different from an E30, less of a slick look that you have on successive iterations of the 3 series. As I type I see a Vauxhall Astra, Ford Fiesta and a whole host of other cars in the coffee shop car park with colour coded mirrors. Not having them is more of a distinctive look with that rationale . As with every styling choice though it's down to the persons tastes.mcjjordan wrote:I used to have an e30 323 with chrome bumpers and had mirrors colour coded

Re: Mirrors
Im having mine body colour (graphite), but my gold car would look terrible with coloured mirrors
as black ties in with my other trim so i think it depends on colour.
Special edition e21s came with body coloured mirrors i think

Re: Mirrors
In that case chrome it is haha! The only models that had color coded mirrors from the factory were the Edition E and Edition S models and that does lok good indeed. Each to his own it is I guess but the black ones never bothered me haha!
On the Facebook group there was a car posted with chrome mirrors in the position of the facelifted mirrors so in the corner of the window. That looked good too but is not original, people suggested these came from some Mercedes? Currently traveling but I can try to post that pic here tonite.

Re: Mirrors
maybe e23 mirrors would fit e21.
Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car. Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far you take the wall with you.
