Hello, just recently joined the forum, since buying a e21 and wanted to know whether it is difficult to change the single Euro looking headlights to the twin headlights ? Any help will be appreciated thanks

Double headlights, a lot is already written abou that. In fact, you have 3 options.
1. Timeperiod correct would be the Hella conversion.
In that case you'll get smaller high beam lights and keep the original single ones aswell. That was the option back in the days. Syraight forward fix apart from the cables.
2. Get a set of grilles and double lights of an 6 cilinder e21.
Straight swap apart from the cables.
3. Taifun grille with double square light.
Nobody would want those, apart from mental cases. (And our good friend Ben, but he has the car for it)

Re: E21 single to twin headlight conversion
I want square lights as well.... and grill also!
Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car. Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Thanks so much for the information uwbuurman, I was thinking about going With option 2, something about those headlights. Would I need to change the cables everytime as I would be switching from single to twin and vice Versa. Thanks

Re: E21 single to twin headlight conversion
Where in the world are you.
It's just factory parts. Find some one wrecking a car and buy the grills, lights with buckets and the front loom and you will be away. The mounting points are already there as the car bodies are all the same.
Then sell your single light parts on eBay for stupid money and profit.

Re: E21 single to twin headlight conversion
Is there any way I can use LHD lights on RHD drive roads by maybe flipping the lights. Can’t find anyone who has the specific 320is headlights in the UK
Another question if anyone knows whether a e30 headlight fit the twin frames
Thanks for your input

320i, 320/6 or 323i are all the same I believe, should all work for conversion. LHD does not work, you'll never get them past MOT not even upsode down haha. I've seen E30 units fitted in E21's, think they fit the E21 buckets and rings.
