I have same thing on my car
Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car. Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Yes, i think its all same, comparing with the E21 stock calipers.

The only advantage i see, is that with aluminium you have better heat transfer.

The suspended mass of the wheel-brake assembly is a lot less and that is a much bigger advantage than the heat dissipation, this is good for road handling.

I had these callipers when I bought it, so I still think it was an option or something. In those days I was stupid as hell and the day I broke a bleeding niple, I threw away the whole calliper. So I only have one left.

it's interesting how you can convert solid disc calipers to vented disc calipers just by adding center piece.

or you can take calipers from AR75 and swap them as they are

I had the same, from Alfa Romeo actually, but I think the only difference is that mine don't have "BMW" stamp next to "BREMBO" one-someone please correct me if I am wrong here, I am judging just by looking at photos
When I fitted them on the car, I just bought the repair kit for 323i front calipers (from Walloth & Nesch) and it fitted exactly.
So probably your local parts supplier is who you need to contact
