Alpina Offset 15's Tyre Choice?

Post by e21Keith »

It just kept niggling at me that I was running reps on my e21, so I've bought a genuine set of offset 15s.

Can anyone tell me what size tyres they ran from the factory and as an alternative what people are running them on now and how happy you are with your tyre choice?

See our FAQ buddy  imo the "stock" choices Alpina made back then still works great, so 195 fronts and 205 rears.

Choice of decent tyres is ever decreasing, corrently I am quite happy with Hankook Ventus Prime K125 which is one of the few decent ones still available in both sizes. Alternatives: Vredestein Sportrac5 which I find uncommunicative, and the Conti PremiumContact2 which design is getting old.

I am running Toyo proxes which are ok, maybe a bit sportier than my taste, maybe for my next tyre refreshment I'll go to Hankooks as well

I don't actually drive that hard so the pure performance side of the tyre isn't really a huge issue for me, comfort and the right look is the priority.
