Did all the little jobs to have the car ready for scrutineering tomorrow, like extinguisher & harness. Final job was a timing beam strut which I'll fit once I get to the venue.
Went to Brands today too and saw Park Lane BMW's stunning 320 with just over 5k on the clock. M3gaz's car was looking mighty fine with the freshly trimmed Recaro interior too.
My fastest run was 44.57 and I'm quite pleased with that to be honest. Evidently anything in the low to mid 40's is a respectable time so I did OK for a fat bloke in a 316.
Well done! and nice shot of you for the mag. They did a spread a few years ago on my gold 323i (when it was black and un totaled) Did you get a chance to speak to them ? Last time I saw their mag they did a spread on the 3 series but omitted the e21...been wanting a word since
I'm entered in this event again this year and doing both days in the e30. Although there's a good mix of cars BMW seem a bit thin on the ground.
This year I am using the car to raise awareness and donations for the Cornwall Air Ambulance. Car will be wearing their logos and there will be collection in the pit area. If anyone would like to make a donation it would be more than welcome.
If anyone is feeling generous please can I ask you to make a donation, no matter how small as every penny counts, via the secure virgingivemoney site here. Thank you guys.
