Must not be so difficult. Here it was also that the cars where comming from 250 km to drive a little tour and later the day drove the same 250 km back home.
It is just that there must be someone who wants to do the effort of organizing it.

the problem here is people cant be botherd. I was 1 of only 3 cars showing at Gaydon which is ment to be a big show.
The other car was a mate who followed me up there. So thats were we are at in the uk
Organizing a little get together is one. People (not) bothering to turn up is two. Over here people love to get together with like minded hence the success of our meetings including the Sharknose Meeting. Perhaps the guys in the UK, apart from a small group, think differently. Glad we're on this side of the pond then and able to do some time traveling a couple times each year!
