Nice to meet all members from abroad.
Next time: BEER & DEER..
Next time: BEER & DEER..
Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far you take the wall with you.
Re: Reactiontopic Sharknosemeeting 2014
Sorry.......but i don't see the problem with beer. And i also notice " next time", not next sharknosemeeting. So i still time this year. You know i have to go out kill somthing this summer to feed you guy's down here.

Now that sounds like a good proposal.

Re: Reactions-suggestions-photos Sharknosemeeting 2014
We're still speechless. We want to improve a bit each year and I guess we managed! The 5th anniversary edition of the Sharknose event was great, the weather was good and the atmosphere was impressive!
Visitors
Many thanks to all, coming from remote places several times! UK, Belgium, Luxemburg and Germany, but even several cars from Norway! On top of that, photographer Ferenc flew in from Hungary, the Irish delegation was present again and we even had active mebers of our Facebook community fly in from Turkey! Vast numbers and diversity, but one shared passion made it a very special day, many thanks to all for being there!
Sponsors
Many events charge 15 Euros each instead of our 5 Euros for a car. That is a huge difference and we mainly have to thank our sponsors for that! So a deep bow to our sponsors and we were delighted to hear that all of them want to be back again next year! Thanks to our main sponsors Schmiedmann and Vocor and just as much thankfulness to our other sponsors Steijn Sportscars , Munich Classics, E28 specialist Ivo Christov, Offenga special car parts, Autobedrijf Lekx, De Deukendokter, Autotemp Elst, Autoglaz, Vos & Partners Autoschade and Sibma Insurance.
Market stalls
We had the most market stalls ever and we saw so many goods change hands. Most business and fanatics renting stalls already indicated they will be back next year. Thanks and most welcome!
Location
There are more idyllic locations, but the Rijnhal offers a perfect combination of a hall and parking space which makes us as good as independant of the weather. We are now faced with a challenge as the Rijnhal is likely to be closed, but that also opens the door for improvements to the event and we hope to be able to add some nice activities next year as well. The search is on and we will keep you posted!
Team
A team of volunteers really has spent all year to organize things, and especially the last few months we had to put in a lot of effort, but with a good result in our opinions! We are most delighted with the growing international audience and we hope we can keep growing there! Thanks to all for your help and for the spontaneous assistance we got from fellow enthusiasts, couldn't have done this without you guys!
Your opinion counts
So next year we want to improve even more, and already evaluations are held and views exchanged. Your improvement suggestions are more than welcome! Please email them to info@sharknosemeeting.com. A response may take a few days, but we will reply. Thanks in advance and see you next year!

And here are the links to two sets of photos made by Ferenc. He set out (all the way from Hungary!!) to picture every single car that was there!
