E21 get put under the ''classics'' banner nowadays but you can request a pass if you buy advance tickets.

Sorry but at this time, i will be in south of France.

However, I forwarded the information to a friend who lives near Grisby and has a French E21 323i.

May be he will go there, i don't know.

Well as the Baur has failed me at the last minute for the last couple of Gaydon's I was hoping to proudly park up next to a a few other E21's & chew the fat. I even had a a set of H&R springs to bring along to sell (not sure I would get the Recaros in the back though :smoke ).

Disappointing as the E21 as been getting some press recently - Classic and Sports Car - E21 Buying Guide - and there may have been some extra interest.

I'll be there Andy,

I doubt you'll miss the bright yellow car on the Motorsport stand.

Come and have a chat about E21's if you see me.

Cheers

Ben

I saw 4 !

The Black one, the Baur, the yellow race car and the one upstairs on the heritage centre...20k miles from the bmw billboard advertising.

First post and very happy to joining the set of E21 Owners having bought my first one two weeks ago. There were in fact 5 E21's that I saw, mine was next to the Drifting circuit and another lime green followed me into the event but not sure where it was parked, and there was the car that was used in the BMW adverts recently which was upstairs in the Museum, 27,000 from new, Wow! Enjoyed talking to Kent(?) about his new acquisition, Nice Car well done, it's all about the chase! Met Cobbler and Duracell too, I am looking for a set of Recaro seats (join the queue!). Also had an interesting conversation with a guy who'd just bought his son a non-Baur E21 Convertible, this guy knew his stuff, nice meeting you! Would be interesting to see your restoration progress.

Ah that sounds better already! Anyone take any pics? The one used for the adverts sounds like a real minter.

BTW welcome here Sanjay, feel free to make a nice presentation on you and your car in the Registry section! Answered your PM as well btw.
