At the AvD Oldtimer Grand Prix visitors can look forward to three days of high-end historic motorsport. After all the key aspects of the programme have been finalised the schedule for Continental Europe’s most important classics race is now available as well. From Friday to Sunday (12 – 14 August) the Grand Prix circuit of the Nürburgring will revive motorsport history in more than 20 races and regularity tests. The legendary Nordschleife is part of the programme as well – classic vehicles will be seen there throughout the weekend. A special attraction for fans of the legendary circuit will be the Track Day on Friday offering ample on-track time for drivers and vehicles of various performance levels. This year a thrilling facet has been added to the programme featuring plenty of highlights to begin with, as the superbly preserved and restored historic rally vehicles of the ‘Slowly Sideways’ special-interest association will be featured for the first time. New as well will be a presentation drive on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Porsche’s transaxle models. First-hand information for participants and fans will be available at Techno Classica (6 – 10 April, Essen Trade Fair Centre). The AvD Oldtimer Grand Prix stand can be found on Stand GA-105 in the ‘Galeria’. Two weekend tickets can be purchased there for 58 euros (equating to a 50 % discount) as a trade fair special.
