Brilliant weather so the Mrs and I jumped in the Baur and drove to a beautiful castle just north of Paris for one of the most prestigeous concourses. Officially only tomorrow but we had to stop by and have a sneak peak for you today
Parking space with a view. Watchtower is from the horse track just in front.
After a chat with this cute lady (about ignition advance mind you) she was off in her French Amilcar
Tammy was shopping for a nice second hander
But she found this more interesting. Both the BT52 and the Turbo prototype will be part of an extensive BMW exhibition on Sunday
Looks like this weekend is going to be fun!

Thanks, we had a great time and we will be coming home with a lot of brilliant shots, think we'll be able to make a little something for BMW Car Magazine again, and also more than enough for a lovely non-BMW online report. Might take a couple of days though!

Saw you guys during the concept car parade, but was in the spectator area.
Went to go look around after that and never found you guys again to say hi.
The weather was so so but not too bad all things considered.
However, I thought last year's edition had a bit more sparkle than this year, but still a lot of beautiful cars to be seen!
And the lines at the food court and food trucks were horrendous, just like last year.
In any case a wonderful event in a spectacular setting!

Pity we missed each other! With the BMW concept car around we were running a bit back and forth to get some decent shots so that might have ben the cause we were moving on already.
Even though we only saw a few raindrops it was not a sunny day like it was just the day before, real pity. Had fun though, didn't meet too many people either, just Olivier while you and my colleague Michiel were there as well. But on the other hand the area is not that small so there are ways to miss each other, clearly.
Food, well yeah that was busy but we knew a guy who knew a guy so free champaign and no queue for us hehe

Thanks gents! The 8C is a work of art indeed but I was even more amazed by a design that was new to me, that of the 6C 2300 Aerodinamica Spider "Aerospider" (1934-1937). All these Italian designs are so wonderful, works or art rather than cars!
