E21 Panels for Sale

Post by Rhinoman » Mon Jul 08, 2019 4:47 pm

I am currently restoring my BMW 320 E21; it is 1982 on an X plate and has 58k on the odometer; in the past 13 years of my ownership, it has lived in the garage.
It is currently being prepared for a respray and the following panels were removed and initially sanded and primed (NSF Wing, OSF Wing, Lower Front Panel), the boot lid, was removed but not prepared.
There is some deterioration in the corners of the panels, where you would expect for a car this age, these areas have been photographed and are shown.
I took the decision to buy new panels from Germany versus repairing the originals. You can see from the photographs, they are easily repairable, if you have the time and preferably the skills to fettle them back to life, sadly I do not!
The panels are all original BMW, not aftermarket, the car has not been crashed and there is no filler in any of the parts; there is a slight dent in the lower front panel, from a previous stone ding; I have photographed it, but it is very slight as I say.
If you are repairing a damaged E21 or restoring a project, these panels should work well for you; they will naturally require your own prep but won’t cost £1000’s to replace. As a lot £300, I am based in the North East, but can arrange shipping as an additional (and agreed cost).
