Yesss sierpien, take it easy with her drive carefully no rush, then when all is great push your foot down as hard as you can without breaking a hole into the floor and feel the speed!!!

I remeber also when the car was stripped and now look all is excellent good work!!

I bought that steering wheel in ebay for 26 dollars 8)

the man who did the restoration, its specialized in steering wheels, and he did a great job with it.

Its very simple to paint the rocker cover, you just puto grease in the areas you want, and after you paint it, you pill out with your fingers or with a little tool.

Thanks for the comments!!

Beautiful restoration serpien, looks superb. I've recently aquired a white 316 myself, but after seeing yours I won't be posting pics until I've polished it - too ashamed!

One question, are the blue and red motorsport stripes still available from BMW? Or if you're not using them - could I cheekily ask to buy yours?!

I have a motorsport front valence waiting to go on mine, the stripes would set it off a treat...

You can get the stripes made up in vinyl (lazer cut) if you can't track down originals?

So there's a couple of e21's in Bristol then??

I had the hood down during a brief spell of sunshine today.....lovely. The ladies of Bristol seemed to like it?? or was it me??
