I dont know, but I am going to take a look at the car on thursday this week. If its that good as he says it is, I am going for it. And i will take photos.

I am thinking a little bit. I can buy a e30 alpina b6 2,8 for a good price.
Then I can put over all the alpina stuff, engine, gear, diff interior to the 323. Only thing I need is new brakes. Spoilers and other stuff I have allready.

Smart or stupid?

Stupid :)

Your 323 is one of the nicest "survivors" of them all, so keep it original. The smart shoice would be to buy the B6 anyway. There's a strong market for E30's, and original and nice Alpinas are hard to come by.

If this E30 is one of the early ones (up to 1985) it could be good value, even if it's not a 3.5.

pic of a nice E30 Alpina ("just" a C1) to help you make up your mind

Has been at the MOT (bilprovningen) today. They had nothing to fault with the car, the thought also it was hard to believe that it was possible to keep a car so good. : D yelled at him a moment when he would try window washer and he apologized for try to do that. Under it was nothing to complain about. Brake hoses looked like new when he wiped the dust on them.
New wheels and tires are on. Power steering, shocks / springs and new discs and pads come next week. Not that they were exhausted, but they are after all 29 years old. Then I have some years to come.
