Hi Topcat,

I think that is an old rule the MSA had to do with rallying and displaying event numbers between stages, covering themselves for liability Insurance etc.

As far as I was aware, as long as my car is insured and the insurance company know it has race numbers on the side its fine.

Plenty of modern cars (mini's and beetles) come from the dealers with numbers on the side these days.

Cheers for the heads up on the PBMW mag, which month was it reported?

Ben

Good to see you guys there, was pleased by the amount of interest the donor car provoked on the rollers.

Would be good to see a video from near the Trumpets if anyone has one, that's where the noise is, rather than the quiet exhaust :whistle

As mentioned in the other thread, this donor car will be started to be stripped in September, so will be an end on an era for me.
We'll see if she will live on in another form later

Cheers
