The one shown on that grapic is a type 1. Do yoy want that of a type 2?

Type 1 has the chrome center mount and the separate top mount.

The type 2 is one piece.

Chrome caps on top are also not interchangable.

Hi!
Sorry for reopening an old thread, but I am also looking for a RHD left armrest in Ensian blue colour. There is one currently on sale in eBay in Marine blue colour. It would need repainting if I purchase it. I am wondering if anyone has already done this and how it works. Of course, I would prefer buying one in right colour, but I doubt that I will ever find one. So, is the repainting an option to go for if I wont be able to locate the correct one? Any thoughts?

as for spraying change of colour, I refreshed by headlining on the 323 im restoring using aerosol vinyl spraypaint for fabric this way, might work if you can find a blue close to yours.

Thanks for a quick response. From your reply I understand, that sapphire blue is the exterior colour of you 323, if OEM paint is still there, of course. Am I right? These cars were produced from year 1980 till 1983 and had quite a different interior colour schemes, which will not fit mine, if still original ones are fitted. What paint colour your cards have? Are they blueish? On some places where these handles are gripped by hand most, paint is worn down to the base plastic, which appears to be in white or transparent colour. I think that they all are made in one colour, then painted by the factory to fit particular interior. If this is the case, then repainting should not be a problem. But I might be wrong. Many thanks for your paint suggestions.

You're welcome. Yes , sapphire blue was exterior colour, the seats and all doorcards are all blue, mix of vinyl and fabric, light blue fabric, darker vinyls

I think that I found your interior in Internet. It has a very close colour type with mine, if I found the right one. Could be the Pacific Blue. Much closer that the one in eBay, which is Marine Blue and looks more black than blue. To be sure, you might use your WIN number and determine exactly what interior you have. Do you want to sell the complete set of both door cards with both handles attached or you are prepared to part them out and sell me just this one handle? In what shape they are? I have 1977 car with door cards in vinyl only. I always liked the facelift ones, but this will put my still mint interior in complete mismatch with the rest of panels and seats. Have you figured out the price? Are these the only 323 parts you have for sale?

Checked vin on realoem and reckon pacific is the colour. Let me get to my garage to inspect them and i'll get back to you, will take pictures and then Pm you for email to send to.
Haven't made my mind up on what other parts may be available for sale,my main objective was to complete resto on black 323 and then decide. Its complete now but I certainly dont really need the blue cards /handles etc for it so, can be made available if you're happy enough. I don't however seem to have the chrome look cover that hides the uppermost screw on the handle, been searching for it for my black car already without success lol.
