I can find a parts listing for mahle 80mm oversize +0.50mm pistons, the Mahle number is 082 27 02 , supplied with rings, I think number is for single piston and rings only. Try a good motor factors first to source for you, good luck.

I think the easier route is search for a decent M20b20 or M20B23 bare block with good cilinder liners.
That is if your current pistons are still usable.
A good 2L block should be easy to source.

Thats strange, my parts catalogue suggests Mahle items still in production, however I also have a Wilmink part number WG1213398
direct equivalent .

I had the same issue a year ago.
I had to order a custom forged set of +0.50mm pistons for my 323i restoration.
They were expensive (~$900), but at the time I could not find a decent M20B23 block.

The pistons were made by Ross Racing (https://www.rosspistons.com), but I ordered them through Ireland Engineering.

I'm looking for a set too (first or second oversize) for future use. Mahle has nothing left.

IE would be my suggestion as well. If I'm ever going to make a M10B20 with high compression I'll order my pistons through them.
