Alpina B6 2.8 My new toy

Post by Lars-Nord »

Jupp :D I just got a new car. Its a 1983 Alpina B6 2.8. Just a little bit of rust, but no danger. Never resprayd, all papers, under the car it looks clean and new, engine is not the orginal, but it is one from B9 a 3,5 liter.
It has a little jobb to be done on it, but I have good time.
Here is a photo and some more are comming later to night. Have to get a faster line to upload.

Well done, congrats!

2.8 or 3.5 doesn't make a difference weight-wise, but it does in performance. Are you keeping that engine?

Thanks. It has 248 hp an 228 hp on the wheels. I have to wait some time to pick it up, because of the winter. And I have to find out if I send it to netherland or norway to take a total overhaulin of the car. Since it is a 83 I will wait 3 year to register it in norway. So thats the time I have to fix it.

3.5 in an E21?! Youch!

Nice car, love the "Bitte ein Bit" sticker, reminds me of holidays in Das Vaterland!

And why the three year wait to register it? Tax reasons?
