I took the corner at high speed, came in the ditch, drove straight through a garden, flipped over 4 times and then I lost control of my steering-wheel!

Beutiful cars. There is a white GTE in Windsor, looks awesome. Did we have the GSI in the UK ?

Yeah we got GSIs in the uk.

Those opels are sweet! But its true about us not getting a lower half of the cars over here!

I was quite into Mantas and old Opels a few years ago. Heres my old Opel Ascona (same chassis as a manta)

I 'd like to remark that, IMO at least, when I look at both the Manta and the E21 in the same photo side by side, the Manta looks as a really poor design, compared to the E21...The BMW is much better, and I think it is not just because I love the E21...Difference is huge!!

true, but the manta gained MUCH more popularity back in the 80's. but I think thats because of the drivers, they were wierd in some way. a massive fox tail mounted at the antenna/inside mirror. windows always open, elbows out. BIG Pioneer/kenwood stickers outside/inside the car. a dozen or more speakers, massive spoilerkits, drivers girlfriend is a hairdresser and has big tits. driver wears al lot of gold neckleces. big cowboy boots.... and so on
