my 316 import Raseeder green

Post by raseeda green »

[]Hi, Hope Im welcome,

twas about last year I got this Imported from the Guarnsey Island, Sweet I owner from new, old gent having past away, left to his wife, she found no powerestreering hard and part xchange, sent it back to the original seller from new.

being in this island they can only go 30mph some one told me, and not really much rust on it so i took it on.
All there was to do was change back box exhaust and back breaks change all. and get it through mot. :driving

so far I have change all leads dizzy cap and rota arm and have her on some Mims,
I really want to change to Manual Gears to save on overprice fuel. Does any one know which gearbox i can get from, I read on a tread that from a E36, or maybe a e28, and later a bigger engine, but I am also deciding weather to keep her original.
Now car is in the garage :D keep it off the salt roads, as I ve got a golf tdi for work

Hey Dude nice car. wish u the best luck with it. If u liked the current green on my car the color code is BMW A34 or A43.
But your car is so nice that just needs lowering.

Ive just got this around body kit,
but just wanted opinion on why so many members don't put on the side skirts on theyre cars, is it because the side skirts are bonded on so to take them off will ruin the car, I have noticed that most members just fit on the front spoilers is it because they can return the car to its orginality?
If your can give us your opinion this will be supurb. Thanks

Please don't fit a body kit. They look rubbish.

Front spoiler will look nice and there's one in the for sale section.

Paint the rear brake drum black too.

Looks like a lovely example.

That is looking clean and free of rust! I wouldn't fit a body kit dude the car has a nice shape as it is! Maybe fit some lowering springs to change the stance?

Thanks Guy's Solved, Just the front skirt, and lowering, I think this will look best IMO AS WELL, I am also gonna put her back on to steel wheels, or 13" alloys to retain the oldskool feel, so up for grabs will be the rest of the kit and set of Mims. Its Nice to get some feed back!
:thumbsup
Cheers

Nice car, I missed this one. Do you have more pictures?

I recently bought a parts car that had a Kamei spoiler set on it. Ditch the air vents, and I like it. But still not my style.
And the side skirts are screwed on ! :shock The sides are full of holes. I'd find some way to attach it without drilling holes in my car.

Side skirts are just moisture traps and rust generators

Danny if you still have the 5 speed box, my friends go to belguim to buy tobacco, would you do a meet there to drop off the box?
I will ask them first and then PM you...if ok cheers :cheers
