Yeah 'Hatter! The Aussie fuel gauge with increments of F, 1/2 etc......I shit you not, the e12 and the e30 both have their increments in 55, 45, 30, 20 and 'R'. I'll go and check them both again now.

I'll get pics of them one day for you guys :wink:

.......yep, both cars have the fuel gauge in increments of litres. So the e21 never came with that in Australia then?

ohh im not saying they didnt, i was just posting the pic to show people what windy was on about. The only e21's i have seen here with litres listed have been cars with mph dash, they probably exist, but im in the same boat as windy :)

.....Oh, well, I knew what Windy was talking about, I just thought that he may have had an odd e21 that didn't have the litre markings! Both mine have, but I guess they are later 80s cars from the next generation up :D.

I take it your e30 has the fuel gauge in litres?

Thats what I assume...but then I assumed that all BMWs had the fuel gauge in litres!!

Whats the status with your e21?

I have only ever seen one with litres, and that one was in miles.

Well, I guess Aussie e21s just didn't come with fuel gauge increments in litres then 8)

What can you do......?

Well it worked for Windy :lol:.....Like he's gonna do, all you guys should get hold of a Euro fuel gauge - litre increments are the goods!!! :mrgreen:
