Yeah, first of all a warm welcome! Car looks like a pretty good basis already and you're not just fueling her up and driving but giving her some TLC first... compliments. Keep us posted!

Oh! What a beutiful engine. Great job.
Re: e21 323I 1982 project pics
completed the engine now and tried on the new headers:
i powdercoated the subframe, fixed new brake discs and cleaned the brakes,
fastened engine on subframe
we bought a new house, so car has to be able to move to its next shed:
it is nice to see the bimmer back on his 4 feet, lowered about 4 cm
also found its 'new' wheels, i love bbs and alpina's,
but i looked for something original,
always loved porsche C2, when i saw them on E30 i knew it..
purchased them for little money, need some TLC and will look awesome!

Looking very good so far.. Very clean
Re: e21 323I 1982 project pics
Nice job so far! Quick question though, what did you use to raise the car so high in the front when you removed the engine? I see the stand you are using after the engine was out, but can't tell from the pictures what you were using during the actual removal process. I only ask, because I was thinking that's the way I wanted to do it too. It really does seem like the best way!

i used my engine hoist, grab the car with 2 chains on its front towbars and up it goes.. pretty easy and fastJeff323 wrote:Nice job so far! just support the subframe, remove subframe-chassis bolts, maybe also front suspension cause it will object you
