License Plate relocations.

Post by mailtrain »

I bought a US spec 320i recently and was wondering about relocating the ugly plate mount that it has. Does anyone know of any companies that make kits for relocating plates to somewhere under the bumper or something that just looks much better? Thanks.

I am commenting not because I’ve solved this, but to echo my agreement. I removed my rear plate mount yesterday to find the plastic behind it in fine shape. My first thought is to buy the alternate mount with the lights out to the sides,
And then it’s possible To lower the plate about 2 1/2 inches. I think this would look much better and show the rear deck shape more as designed. Below the US bumper seems to low visually but I’m considering that too. My can needs paint to I could fill previous holes in process to support the relocation. (Jack in Tampa.)

Best way to go is convert it to Euro bumpers. But if that is to much, that I would suggest on or below the rear bumper.
