You dont need to go supercharget to get 200HP from this engine.

Depends how much torque you want and where in the rev range. Having run a mk1 Scirocco with a chipped 1.8t making about 200hp, I can vouch for the advantages of a torque curve that's big and flat, vs a peaky and stressed 2.0 N/A motor.

Several Civic Type R's round here will back me up on this! :smoke

No by my self, i know a good recipe to get close to 200hp
-m47crank
-m54b30 rods
-pistons from XU10J4RS(86mm,peugeot 306gti) they fits on bmw rods
-CR ~11,5
And u will need to grind the block about 1mm, the pistons are litlle lower. I hope you understand what I mean.
Of course, much remains to be done, it's just a recipe for completion of the block

I heard that, the best way is to put m42 head to m44 block, that combination gives more HP

some good quality 2k epoxy that contains lead used there for first coat, will scuff and recoat in the future with more epoxy then 2k high solid clearcoat it all.

now started my spit roast

all from scrap.

wanted one i could load the car by my self, the fixed height ones are o.k if there are 2 or three of you but trying to lift a shell on is a paint with a engine crane and just unsafe.
turn the ratchet at the top and it lifts the whole lot up or down from axle stand height.

just how i have enough clearance with the stabaliser leg, other wise it may be changed to a 4 wheeled design, or alter the balance point by chopping the leg that is tacked on.

deciding where to lift the front of the shell from was the hardest, i didnt want the points to interfere with attaching the subframes and the front will be the easiest to touch up the paint in the future.

we have lift off.
just need the link bar for the middle, its a bit bottom heavy so will shorten the drop down bars a bit for better balance.

when its ready i will probably roll it straight on to the trailer like this for the blasters then right back in the garage, degrease and epoxy the shell.

picked up the eccentric bolts from the stealers today £39 for the E39 ones, ordered 2 new drive shaft nuts, just need to turn the damaged bits of thread off the outer shaft adapter and order some bits and the shafts are ready for grit blast and paint.
just going to get a friend to mill down some plate for the camber caster plates
if any one can get me some dimensions or one to copy I may get some extra's made up for the forum.
