Little update
Seems when my radiator is full to the top the car smokes when I start it,
but when it's not so full it doesn't smoke,
also the temp gauge doesn't seem to go up very high,
sits at average under a quarter,I've looked in the bay and the temp sensor pipe housing? I think that's what it might be called looks rather dirty lots of water marks and such, could this be letting water in? I'm really unsure I'm just wondering before I start buying head gasket bits and go down that route

You need to do a sniff test on your coolant, as an engine with a head gasket problem shows steam, water, or white smoke exiting the exhaust pipe along with other symptoms like coolant in the oil or vice versa. To test you'll want a combustion leak tester. The tester consists of a glass beaker and aspirator bulb that pulls fumes from inside the top of the radiator into the test beaker, passing through a gas-sensitive bromothymol blue chemical. If combustion gas is present in the cooling system, a chemical reaction occurs, turning the fluid from blue to yellow, indicating a combustion leak from a head gasket. You can probably buy one pretty cheap or ask a garage and borrow one.

Haven't done anything really took it for a long run and it cleared up all the oil doesn't really smoke to much since,it's bin running real lean and stalling at lights every now and then haha ,also takes a while to start, which is annoying but I've bin warming it up for 10 mins in the morning which I think it quite likes, trouble is kinda skint at the moment after buying my wheels so getting some hours in at work to get some extra spending/living money haha, how's yours?

You can use existing. Just block the ports the fluid flowed through
