Well heres my little beastie!!

Been a year and half of the road restoring it, not a full bare metal as it was fairly clean to start with.

Nearly there now.

Forgot to add that my mrs smashed through my garage door in my e46 and it suffered front and rear end damage!! :wtf

need a new front and rear bumper and valence if anyone has them for sale ?

its pretty standard at the mo, its got the 2.3 legs with bilstein inserts on the front and 60mm springs all round. The shocks are quite old and sagging now so i need a new set up really

When do you think she will be on the road? Also where did you get the coilovers were they expensive ?
Are they a direct fit?

Nice shiny respray for sure! Are you looking to replace your Alpina valance for a standard one? I'm not usually a fan of the Alpina variants but it looks lovely on your car.

Thanks. The Coilovers were incomplete, needing springs and top caps that I pinched from a old set i had spare. The set I got cost £300 from a guy off this forum, keep a eye on the for sale section as they do come up from time to time.

With 3 young kids I'm not expecting it to be done any time soon, but one day :driving

Arshad, the valence somehow survived even though its a fibre glass one!! its actually the panel behind that is totally mangled!!

Cheers for the comments guys

Ah right, yes that makes sense! I'll keep an eye out for one. They're getting rarer, but do turn up.

Not posted/updated this for a while but in between moving (twice) a new baby, work and buying a 320/6 I have been doing bits....

Last summer saw the 316 treated to

Bilstein b8’s all round with 60mm springs
New top mounts
New TCA arms
EBC discs and pads
New leads and plugs
Oil change
New flexi brake pipes

This week had a bit of time so after reading many threads I got rid of the zenith carb and fitted a Weber 32/34

I must say what a difference, totally recommend it! drives really smooth and much more responsive

Also acquired a set of Weber twin 40’s 😎

I’ll upload some photos next time I have my laptop out as I can’t seem to do it from my phone
