I know the subject is always dealing with endless discussions, but what do you think about this oil, considering:
BMW 318 y1978, Weber Carb, leaving in temperatured climate (not too hot- not too cold, between 5°C/41°F min to 25°C/77°F max with about 15°C/59°F average yearly temp). Only cruising drives.
Mineral multigrade engine oil specially designed for classic car engines built between 1950 and 1970. Depends of your geographic situation and the usage of your car. I wouldn't want to start my car with 20W50 on a morning when the car is 10degrees C.
The consensus here is that Motul 5W50 is an excellent oil. But that is a synthetic one, so don't use it when it hasn't been used from the beginning.
Try to find a thinner one when cold, like 10W50 or 5W50 as a mineral alternative.
