This is my first 323i, built 1981.
Original Dutch car with a nearly complete history. As a result of some rust
on the usual places, as well as some not-so-good paintwork arranged by the
previous owner, I am currently preparing the car for some body work and a
respray.
Over the past few years
I've added original accessories, and this is what the car now has to offer
(not all of it on photo yet):

- Rear headrests (not fitted at the moment)
- BMW Bavaria Reverse C radio-cassette
- Rechargeable board light
- Original 3-spoke leather sports steering
wheel and leather gear knob
- Eco 5-speed gearbox
- Electric
mirrors L/R

Non-original equipment:
- 7x15" original Alpina alloys
- Alpina sports suspension with Bilstein Sport
shocks and Eibach/Alpina springs
- Alpina
adjustable rear sway bar
- Alpina footrest
- PMC G-Force brake discs front / rear (cross
drilled and slotted)
- Front
& rear tower strut brace
- MTS
clear indicator lenses
- E12
chrome door handles

Planned work:
- Fitting additional electric fan
- Fitting steel braided brake lines
- Replacing the 3.91 75% limited slip diff
by a 3.45 25% LSD
- Replacing the eco 5 speed box by a dogleg
close ratio 5 speed
After all that I might convert the car to
a 2.7 litre stroker using the original K-Jet… in that way the engine bay will
still look completely stock but the engine will have more power and
considerably more torque, especially in the lower rev range.
