New Alpina style wheels?

Post by dooomed »

Hi all,

Has anyone bought wheels of this eBay site?

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Leichtmetall ... 8#shpCntId

They have listings for a wide range of newly manufactured Alpina style wheels. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with them or can vouch for ( or not...) the quality of the rim.

Cheers

Can't work out if the price is for one wheel or a set?

No experience of them but if the price is per wheel they are looking expensive!

Try buying shabby used original ones and all of a sudden this is cheap haha. Price clearly is ea. I've seen them being offered on several places but haven't heard any first hand experiences. Saw them being offered at the Sharknose Meeting this year as well and it looked pretty good.

Thanks for replies guys. Yep, not cheap but they seem a little cheaper than genuine ones I can find around at the moment. Add shipping to Australia and they get very pricey!!!

Looking for a set of 15x7 for a 320/6 I am in the process of buying. It currently has 15's on it with spacers but in order to get it registered here (currently unregistered) it cannot run spacers. So looking for a set of 15x7, ideally Alpinas or Alpina style. I like the look of BBS wheels but hate cleaning them  Ideally located in Australia too...

I bought a set of OZ reps from Germany, these are a known quantity and even after refurb are less than half the price of these!

Nice. Do you have any links? Where should I be looking? The only ones I can find are similar in price.

All good, I ended up ordering some reps.

Once I get my car delivered (currently on a 2,500 km trip in a truck) I'll do a proper intro thread. And photos... :-)
