My pal has done wonders with your car, it can even do wheelies now. I was at my mates place over the weekend and he really has done an excellent job, all credit to him, your car will be solid when it leaves his place. BTW, he did comment that whoever did the DIY work on the car is invited to go and see him so he can show them how it is really done. I'm assuming it was the owner before Hannah ?

Not guilty, I drove it most days to work and back, I even braved a 160mile round trip one night! The guy before me put the E30 engine in the beast!

Hahahaha...Looks like my car is enjoying the golden shower !!!!

Anyway, it doesnt matter who did what and when, the main point it is, its being sorted by a man in the know.

Hi Joker,

Just reading your thread and see that you are in Birmingham. Given the speed of your welder, does he do work for all comers?

Hi Hannah, Sorry for being off the radar recently. Unfortunately the agency I worked for went bust back in June so all the spare car money had to be diverted to other things. I've recently decided to go for it and set myself up so if you get the chance go to http://www.davidcooperdesign.co.uk and have a look. Its still only a holding page at the moment but I'll hopefully have the fully site live in the next two weeks.

The car has all been re-welded, new track rod ends, new front disc and pads and I've started to clean the interior and engine bay too. Was hoping to get a full respray but I might have to settle for the new front wings, sills and bonnet and later on get the rest of her done. She really does drive like a different car now. Mobster mentioned you were possibly coming up to brum so if you do drop me a message and we can hook up.

I've tried attaching a couple of pics for you to have a look at but I'm clearly being a dumb ass so PM me your e-mail address and I'll send them over.

Cheers
Dave
