Hey all.
So picked up this recently. A 320/6 with a some work already done to it, still needing a fair bit of work to get it schmick but a good starting point. Wheels changed out to Alpina reps from some BBS reps with +20 offset and spacers on the front. Still needs a road worthy inspection to get registered i found out today as this car was imported into Oz at some and does not have compliance plates.
Will try and work out how to upload pics in the morning.

Re: 1977 320/6 SA
So too hard to figure out how to post photos on my phone so will upload some to the FB group at some stage.
Currently what I know about the car...
Running a 2.8L stroker, some head work and cam of unknown specs, apparently. AMC head. MSD ignition system, triple Webers. Heavy duty clutch, LSD - unknown ratio. Bilstein shocks and Eibach springs, lowered about 2". Volvo brakes up front, disks at the back (converted from drums?). Car has been imported into Oz at some point and needs a full roadworthy test for me to get it registered. No A/C, no PAS. Sunroof. Car has been repainted in some 90's 5 series colour of very dark green/blue. Black vinyl interior. 114k miles on the odometer.
Plans...
Wilwood 4 pot front brake setup. Front disks needs replacing so will go the whole hog.
Throttle is super heavy, Webers need a tune. Look at return springs? Need to lighten the throttle some how.
Renew door seals and sunroof seal.
Recaro seats, full interior reupholster.
Plenty of interior fittings need attention. Heat/cool selector on dash seems to be broken. Dash is not cracked, surprisingly.
Maybe one day a full respray but body and paint in good condition. Small amount of rust visible in driver's side B pillar.

you have all you need!
2.8 stroker, HD clutch, LSD, Volvo 4pot brakes

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car. Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Re: 1977 320/6 SA
True but the front brakes were installed with no spacer and used a bunch of washers instead and the disks are a little warped. Might as well chuck in some Wilwoods.
The engine is certainly sufficient for the time being. I will look into a full engine rebuild down the track once I'm happy with the body and interior. I believe Knight Engines here in Adelaide have experience with the M20 and are known to be very good at putting together engines so I'll get in touch with them, if they're still going...
