hi guys, considering selling the V8 next year at some point. firstly I know its difficult to say how much a car is worth but I would like to know what you think, for example if it was yours what would you ask for it? its a difficult decision to make as I have been building this car through its various stages for 8 years not, this is the best its ever looked, soon to look better as im currently refurbing some cx500 compomotive split rims for it. here are some recent pics from retro rides gathering 2014, thanks

If it was mine it wouldn't be going anywhere!

I'd like it myself but I couldn't part with the M3 and am starting my own small business next year.

GLWS though mate, it's a cracking car.

Why do you want to sell it? New project plans? Agree with Mark, I'd keep it!

£10000 or more
just my opinion though, seen a 4.o litre v8 for sale recently for £10k
Don't think it was space framed like yours though

Problem is it's a chunk of cash for something that you couldn't race, as it wouldn't be eligible. It'd be fun for hillclimbs & sprints, once you sort the geometry and give it a proper shakedown though, or simply hooning about on track-days. (Assuming it's under 100dcb?) I'd guess at circa £10k too, as it's unlikely you'll get back what you've spent. That said, someone may see it and simply have to have it, at any cost?

I hope you keep it, although I also get the whole too many vehicles thing.

Why not get a valuation from an auction house who deals with motorsport or rare cars?

just an idea.

Amazing job, have to agree with the others, keep it a few summers enjoy the car, finish the house. Relax a while then start the next project.

But you must be like me, the e12 has only been away a week for paint and already planned the next, vw lt35 classic shape on mini super singles powered by a cummins 6bt.
