M15KYY's V8 **FOR SALE**

Post by M15KYY »

Hi guys

Been quite dormant on here of late, some of you may know I built an e21 several years ago with an m60b30 v8, this one

well as cool as I thought the car was, it was half finished :goodnight I got bored with the car and mothballed it while I restored my gold 316, so with enthusiasm renewed after the gold e21 I stripped the v8 down to the bare shell, and sent it off for furnacing to get rid of all the paint etc, then I finished the welding and various modification's including an e36 m3 evo rear suspension setup and tubbed the rear arches and bought a group 2 body kit.
I had the car painted to protect it temporarily, as of next Monday its off to surface processing for acid dip and then body work preparation .
modifications since the nato green days are

e36 m3 evo rear suspension and final drive
m60b40 manual 5 speed V8
roll cage revision (drivers surround removed)
rear arches tubbed
tubular custom front crossmember and modified front suspension
rear airflow diffuser
plastic windows
new sparco pro 2000 seats
Re-wire
e12 5 stud conversion on the front.
15 inch trans am wheels

if any of you are interested in seeing new pictures of the v8 then ill take and upload some, this car has been my "lifes" work since I was 19 so if you want to say anything derogatory please take into account I have been working on this car for almost 8 years,

thanks for looking M15KYY :thumbsup

Jimbob i am painting the car bmw alpine white, (e90 white) with a custom gun metal metallic inside. Thanks for the compliment mark :cheers and nas the car has paint on it now but its all to be stripped off next week during the acid dip. The body will be painted in approximately a months time when it comes back from surface processing in dudley, up until then i will be working on the mechanical side of things and fabricating suspension components, all will be documented on here with plenty of pics dont worry :-D

etch primer turned out to be a load of shit, its all gotta come off I am afraid nas :( there's no way im sanding it all off..... F**K that!!
plus they will dip the car in a 2 pk etch primer which means all the insides of the panels that you cant get a spray gun onto will be sealed too
