About time for an update, got the car MOT'd today and went for a scenic drive straight away...

Interior... some stuff on the to do list like Bavaria radio, original loudspeaker covers, etc.

Engine bay without any polishing by me, even though I did fit a new coolant tank. Still clean after all recent work (fresh suspension, timing belt, fluids, PS fitted, and more)

Front strut brace is ready to be fitted as well, will be in place right after a small cleaning operation here. Not too much work but the valve cover can do with a little cleaning for example.

Good question Mobster! I've been a little busy with work, usual excuses I guess. Have also had to sell a car that I got landed with, so now my hands are a little free, should be in the coming weeks. Inshallah :)

Well I say "Inshallah" to non-muslims too :D, but yeah I think I talked to you once before Mobster and think we discussed it then briefly so it's all good

Sorry for going a little off topic in your thread Jeroen you car does look clean, do you need a Bavaria radio or just planning on fitting one you already have?

:P no problem!

Yeah I do have an old school Bavaria radio cassette I want to combine with a bluetooth handsfree carkit for the mobile and a fm modulator for a mp3 player... as soon as all this stuff's in I will fit it.

All I need is background music and that's all I'll get I guess as you can only have speakers in the front footwells. The rear shelf is useless as I plan to have the roof open as much as possible and then the roof covers the rear shelf...

Of course I am not going to cut up doorcards but hey, with a M20 that's where the real music comes from!

I think that will be the best of both worlds. I still have an original Becker Radio, but since I now have an E30 dash fitted, it just won't look quite right. Alpine (which I love) do a nice Sat-Nav, MP3 based system with red backlighting at a good price that should blend in with the rest of the interior.

I even managed to buy some aftermarket Infiniti speakers, that specifically fit under the E21 rear speaker grills. They should upgrade the sound nicely, but like you say it's all about the M20 really

Look forward to the updates anyway.

CONGRATULATIONS mate!!! Take good care of her...

Oh. But please don't let this little Baur beauty distract you from your awesomely cool green 323i!! She deserves better and you know it. Either get her back in top-notch or hand her over to me....

It's been a long time since the last update here I see... some updated pics then... now...

Thought I might like the cars' looks better without the BBS spoiler so I removed it, to discover an unspoilt original deep front spoiler... all is a matter of taste but I like her better this way...

And last weekend I was underneath the car to check if fitting a LSD was a straight fit (it is), took a few photos there as well...
