No, Piet Oldenhof was a large dealership in the Netherlands, famous or more notorious for his Alpina conversions, but also for tweaking speedo's and selling cars that drove a few tens of thousands kilometers backwards... I know people who bought new BMWxs at Piet, when they walked in the garage workshop there where at least 5 cars, with the speedo cable in a drill, running at full speed.

Ended in an ugly divorce, in which his wife and son took over the dealership. Piet Oldenhof is still a cardealer, but has none of his old archives. I know this, because my e30 325i was first delivered by him, and also the second owner bought it there. A mate of mine has a 318i e21 Baur that was first delivered by Piet as well. We tried to get more details on these cars, but no luck.

And indeed, an Alpina conversion done by Oldenhof back in the day doesn't mean it was always given the full conversion and back in the day the authorities were pretty flexible as well. There are examples like a 320/6A getting Alpina stripes, suspension and wheels and then being registered as 320 Alpina or even C1.

The only conversions that -to the best of my knowledge- are recorded at Alpina Buchloe are all full B6 conversions performed by Alpina and their dealers, and the C1 conversions done in Buchloe.

So what I did, I've clicked the pic in google, clicked share, generated the link. That link does not work embedded. So it does not work beweet the [img] and . Used google to look for a way to embed the google pic and found this site.

Insert the link from google, generate the new embedde link, copy that and put it here between the [img] and .

A bit of a hazzle, but using google, this is the way to go. Hosting the pics wit Photobucket of igmur of whatever site works faster. But this works anyway.

Thank you for the help with the pics.

I agree it looks fine and the seller reports new exhaust, tires, injectors, seat upholstery and a few other items. Looks very clean but have not see the underside or inside the engine bay or trunk yet. The current owner does not know whether it has the C1 engine modifications my guess is it does not as it did not come from Alpina directly and the information on Oldenhof provided in this thread assuming he did the conversion...

I believe this is a very good find there are not many around as we have mentioned. The car will not come cheap but it's a rare opportunity.
