Baurs' 525 e12 1975

Post by 323baur »

In the last holiday, I was in France - Paris, with my wife and 2 youngest kids.
They bought a lot of clothes and other stuff for to much money.
And I? I bought myself an another e12.
With the early and rare hood, small taillights and the good old m30. 4 speed.
Further options: NONE.

Why? Purely trade, but also to have it..
So I drove this new girlfriend from Paris to home, 450km. no problems, no overheating, nothing.
What a technique from the 70s. I do like :)

Last Saturday I cleaned it, and picked up a super interior at Joost and Robs place.
The totally worn out interior did no good to the total picture of this very solid e12.
Even 2 rustspots are seen, the rest is very very solid.

And yess; she is for sale. Soon I will put it on Catawiki.
Now buy price: euro 5k.

For the dutch readers and enthousiasts...yes she is from 1975!

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far you take the wall with you.

These cars are really 4 door e21s.
I took the complete interior out today, but underneath its exactly the same.
An e23 is build differently.

Yes it is!
I am most happy with the backheadrests!
