excuse my ignorance, have a e21 and would like to lower the front. can i just put lowering springs on front only?
would 40mm be o.k (don't want to go too low, just want a nice stance) what make would recommend (lower price range)

You certainly can. It might play a little bit of havoc with the handling though. I put a set of 40 mm lower Eibachs on the front of the 323i. Looked better, but I went out to a BMW Club track day and the back end was way looser.

is it better to lower all four corners? front only less than 40mm? thanks

Getting a matched set would be best. However, if it's just for cruising, don't worry, just get whatever you like.

I can do you 4 -35mm springs and 40% uprated shocks and struts for £250 - new unused - plus P&P

spend the money early on and get GAZ coilovers.

costs around the £750 area and completely adjustable to whatever hieght suits you.

will improve the handaling dramatically aswell

love to but to much money for me, car going to my son, just want some cheaper spring . Thanks

if its going to your son just cut the springs. he will soon learn how to handle the car then :) lol

im sure theres some springs on ebay for like £100 or so - your bext bet if there are not any is to try on the german ebay.
