Rust patches under rear windows..

Post by Reck »

What is the best way to go about tackling these? Had the chrome off and its not too bad bad on the drivers side, but there are two 5cm patches on the passenger side.

The best way is to sandblast the rust away. When necessary weld new metal in. After this use zinc instead of polyester. Offcourse primer and finish with paint.

I find a hammer helps :)

not so good for the vehicle though

its fairly easy to get the rear windows out, would start there and cut it out and make a new peice - if you can find a scrap doner car you could cut a piece from further back as i bet your holes are at the bottom of the B pillar.
