Just bought an LSD from the states and looking for cheapest shipping option. As there's no rush I figure sea would be the best way?

Any help / advice or suggestions please?

With the Unitied States Postal Serivice you need the vendor to take the LSD to the post office, as for wheels I have sent alloys, gearboxes, heads, all with interparcel.com to the USA you might need to quote it as 4 or 2 pracels to work out what is the cheapest.

How reliable is the U.S. Postal Service? If it's anything like the Royal Mail, Mark's diff will end up on eBay. No kidding.

the u.s.p.s. is pretty reliable. but i highly suggest getting insurance on the package. as far as the weight goes, its not the biggest factor, size plays a big part in it too. the header that i sent to a fellow forum member didnt weigh much but i got hit for the size. another option you may want to look into is a company called dhl. they are similar to fed ex/ ups , but they are a cheaper version. no big trucks, just little vans, if you get what im saying

With the wheels, it is better to do them in two packages, and most likely with interparcel, who willmost likely use DHL of Fed EX
