Hi all
I have noticed that the carpet is damp under the drivers seat.
Im concerned i may have damaged the drainage lines from the sun roof system (saw this subject on another thread)
Is this a possibility, and does anyone have a diagram of this system and any advise on maintenance or repair?
Cheers

Re: Damp under drivers seat
What makes you think you damaged them?
Water can get in from the base of the doors / door cards too.
It can be a real PITA trying to find leaks. I had to take all my carpet out and watch to see where the water came in before I could cure my leak.

Re: Damp under drivers seat
I dont really know, just guessing.
When i was swapping wings im sure i saw something hanging out that looked like a broken black tube.
Just cant remember if i left it, or pulled it off. It was some months later i read about water ingress from sunroofs.
Dont doors have holes at the bottom for water to escape?
I dont want it to start rotting away at the floor pan (blind leadind the blind)

Yes, those tubes are the sunroof drains. If you've pulled them off you might find them near impossible to replace!
Yes, the doors do have little holes for water to escape but they can easily block.
As I said, the only way to be 100% certain where the water is coming in, is to whip the carpet out and see for yourself.
