they speak of bags, the link you gave, 340i, is belgium. but we Dutchmen can understand that!

I took the corner at high speed, came in the ditch, drove straight through a garden, flipped over 4 times and then I lost control of my steering-wheel!

haha you're lucky, i cant read either of those languages so just looked at the pictures :banana

doesnt look like he's done much to the suspension other than just swapped the springs for bags.

someone needs to do this to an e21...

Even running the 17" i can drop the car onto the front subframe and rear diff, the suspension geometry has been set up to work with a 50mm ride height. Basically the rear subframe is lifted up till the diff is hard up to the floor. Front is a bit tricky but the front subframe has been modified to move the suspension pick up 50mm upwards, doing it again a modified e28 or 02 strut would be better with custom roll centre spacers

What a shame that green car can't handle for shit. Yes I know it can be raised to get over speed humps etc, but stance for it's own sake don't mean a damn unless it can go around a corner properly.
But hey, that doesn't seem to matter anymore. Image

damn thats impressive! is that 50mm at the sills? do you have pics or a build thread showing the front and rear subframes? looks like im going to have to do the same thing at the front. on the rear ive already cut out the whole floor so that the rear subframe and diff can come up about 60mm

Sorry for the pic quality (camera held in hand, no flash use)

Ok, mine has the "regular" APEX lowering.
However I have a question: Is lowering good just for the looks? Or is it of any use on roadholding as well? Can anyone explain? I am asking because I haven't unerstood any significant difference in roadholding by lowering the car, just a more aggressive look, and stiffer suspension, so much stiffer that I don't like it most of the times..
As about body roll, I didn't see big difference until I fitted the strut bar...
