Put all the grill (de-badged) back together. The front panel has been sprayed and laquered too, makes a big difference.
Cheer Reck, Its going slowly but coming along now.
Regarding the fuel pump. Im having a bit of trouble getting it to screw into where the old sender unit came out. Does it just need some persuasion or do i need to shorten it ?
i had to shorten mine by about 8-10mm. but, the one i put in drjims just went straight in????? same e30 318i/is in tank pump.
does the pump hit the bottom of the tank before you can screw it down?

Yeah, there looks to be some kind of tub type thing in the tank where the pump/sender sits and it's touching the bottom of that and just stopping me from screwing it in. Does'nt seem any longer than the original sender though. May just need to use a tad more force, just worried about breaking something.
