BMW Mims Alloys Centre cap size?

Post by tedroy1 »

Can anyone tell me what size wheel cap i need for these? they seem to have a smaller recess so i cant be sure which measuremnt to use.

Id quite like the Alpina type cap, but nobody seems to do a retro fit version in plain black.

Cheers

oh i had a pain with this too. theres a guy on bimmerforums in the states might still have a set of new ones. he had a few sets espcially made ages ago from an original mim center!
you gotta be rich tho, he wanted over $40 each (if i remember correctly) for them as thats how much they cost to make the limited run.

in the end i got some black perspex and a hole cutter. and bought some deceptacon stickers off ebay. then glue gunned them in from the back side.

I couldn't find any centres for my BBS Mahles. So I used 2 caps from rattle cans for the rears, a blue one and a grey one
I saw a set of metal centre caps on eBay.de a few months back for around €250. I've seen sets of Mahles go for that money. The plastic ones you can buy for around €80 the 4.
