I have an engine to replace my 320/6.
I would like to rebuild it while it's out the car. It's not something I've done before, is there a comprehensive rebuild thread anywhere as a guide to help me do this?

Im looking for a step by step rebuild guide for the M20. I would get by with a generic rebuild book, but i would prefer something specific to the motor il be breaking down. Lessons learnt, do's/don't's that sort of thing.

I think I have an e21 manual on CD-rom somewhere. If I can find it, it's yours. Meanwhile there's a manual to download in this tech' section. Have you looked at that?
