Full on track weapon. Currently with an M30B35 but I'm looking at other options...

If you're looking for a plug-and-play option (and as Arshad already knows): a friend of mine is selling his E3 with an E34 M5 engine... Could be a really nice and spot-on full track weapon..

I dunno if the buy it now works, I am trying to buy the mahle but he needs to change his auction. Btw, stay away from the mahle.

Thanks for the link, the dash is actually very good and I won't be needing anymore interior bits.
Might have been interested in the Mahle if it was 15"!

Re: E3 for sale
More progress tonight. Style 5s tested, not sure if I'd want to go much wider to be honest plus they look alright
Engine came out nice and easy
I'm still weighing up options with loosing the twin remote servo system
My seats will go in with very little effort

e3's are so cool! you got this for a bargain - looks like it only needs wings and a few patches.. whats it like underneath?

Re: E3 for sale
Fantastic, really really good underneath. Floors and chassis are mint. Some tiny patches of surface rust will need a wire brush and undersealing but thats it. The worst parts are pictured, the ends of the outer sills. Also the "jacking points" will need a tickle. It really is outstanding for its age.
To be honest I think the front wings have done me a huge favour by putting a lot of potential buyers off.

Re: E3 for sale
I'm tempted to trial fit an M60 V8, but I think it's way too much hassle to contemplate. I already have a decent E28 M535i engine, a full E34 motronic conversion to fit and an E34 5 speed box, so this is likely.

Re: E3 for sale
I think the style 5's look perfect. I can't remember now if they're 17"'s or 18'"s - but I'm looking to upgrade to 17"s myself at some point. M30 will be a nice upgrade and makes sense if its lying around, but I'm more keen on the M60 too, especially since I don't think it's ever been done before in an E3 (although I have this planned too!) - a genuine bargain and looking forward to the next update.

E3 thoughts are astirring.... I'm looking for any useable wings out there, let me know if you know of any.
