Just a bad dream. But it was SO real that I could feel the long curve. I am ok and the car is ok. Just the bad feeling of something that can happen.

Heard through a third party that MIB is finally back on its wheels. Am hoping to see a photo sometime soon.

Got another call from the mechanic. Each time they call I feel $200 poorer!

Disc brake rear end & LSD went in the race car. Decided not to use the fiberglass front wings so got some good steel ones instead and chopped the wheel arches out with a grinder.

Got the 323i back after a month at the mechanic. I could probably buy a new car for what it's going to cost!
Got the registration inspection Wednesay. My lack of confidence is pretty obvious... I've pencilled in Wdnesday afternoon with the mechanic.

Today will put back in place rear-left wheel and tyre, as well as spare tyre.

Due to strange air leakage from the rear wheel, I had it left to the tyre shop for inspection, and hadn't appeared to get it back (ready, with some new glue on) for some days: All these days I was driving with a smile on my face(with the spare wheel on)
Defo going to put on narrower tyres on my next tyre replacement!

Re: What did you do to your E21 today?

Got this 83 320i from an old man out by me off craigslist. It's like a time machine inside. 6k miles in 10 years, he was the third owner. 183k on the clock. I've had it for 3-4 months and haven't even put 100 miles on it yet. Ordered a ton of parts from Pelican to clean her up.
Done so far:
- Valve Adjustment (only two needed adjustments) + gasket + cleaned the cover
- Internal + External Fuel Pump (had a hot/warm startup problem)
- knick knacks
- distributer cap + rotor
In the shop right now for:
- BavarianParts 3.64 Diff (so clean!)
- Oil Pan + Gasket + bolt
- Vacuum Lines
- Auxiliary Air Valve
- New Ansa Muffler/Exhaust + hangers (old one was leaking and missing a hanger)
- Engine Oil / Transmission / Diff fluid (might as well while he's in there)
Still on the shelf awaiting install:
- pads / rotors / shoes / brake fluid
- water pump / thermostat
- hood/trunk emblems (will go on after a thorough exterior and interior detail)
Man, I'm excited to finally get this thing running solid! The fuel pumps were the main issues in this car's running condition. It's quote solid now, aside from the diff which was just starting to whine a lot.
Question for everyone regarding the only electrical nuance:
- One of my low beams works when in standard running/light-on mode, but the other only works if the high beams are initiated. Any clue?
Everything has power, but I only get both low-beams when the highs are on.... hmmm.
Thanks!

Re: What did you do to your E21 today?
Welcome, sounds like a great buy! No clue about the lighting, perhaps someone messed with the wiring? Anyway, enjoy the car and by the time you have some more photos, make a nice thread on the car in the Owners Gallery!

Cool! Few have been saying to check fuses (spin them) and that one of the two filaments in the bulb may be out. Interesting.
