Right picked up a 1975 316 manual chrome mirror version a while back. It's mot's ,taxed and insured. I also have a manual 323i donor car sitting on the driveway. plan was to take the engine out ancillaries etc and store them and transplant them in to the 316 in the future.
I remember reading that although you can swap everything , you have to adapt some parts due to the earlier shells. Can anyone tell me what needs doing. I've had a quick scan on the search bar. If all seems straightforward and if i have the funds, i may go ahead with the transplant sooner than later.
Toying with the idea of sourcing an e30 dash as the one i have in the 316 is cracked and is the early style. Air con would be cool, same sort of setup as Arshad....
