Right well I've been on the forum for a while now and think its about time i got some pics on line to show you guys what i'm up to.
I currently have two, very much off the road, E21's. the first i've had for a month now which is a 316, pretty well stripped back to a rolling shell with most welding work already done. the second is my 323i which i only just picked up yesterday. plan is to use the good shell of the 316 and transplant all the running gear from the 323. this will all be done after the parts from the 323 have been stripped and rebuilt, hopefully.
Any way here are the pics......
My 323i and 316 project cars.

oh rubish i've got a problem with photo bucket, anyone know of a good photo hosting site?
well if i could get the pics to work i would show you what i've done today.
in words, i've managed to completely remove the 316 engine and subframes and get the 323 engine out.
tomorrow i'm hoping to get the 323 subframes off, rebushed and onto the 316. then i'll start work rebuilding the M20, get the head off and stripped ready for a bit of a tickle and recut of all the valve seats
i'll keep you posted of progress.
Ritch.
