Think he will struggle myself as no one is buying at the min and if they do they want it for next to nothing the bloke who done my mot today said what an awsome car if it comes up forsale let me know so i said it is forsale now he asked how much i told and he said the most i can afford is 3k people just dont understand the effort gone in to cars like these.

in all honesty im not trying that hard to sell it. im looking at other options one of which will mean keeping the 21 but the mrs using the 63 bit of a double edged sword lol

Yea just noticed there is a for sale advertisment. I get asked if I would sell my car a lot and I always say no. Some people think it's worth the same as an e30.. no this is 10 times more special.

I think 9k is very reasonable. I have an agreed value of 10k for mine.

It's worth every penny of £9k in my book. Especially with it being such a nice base car to start with and it being comprehensively stripped, powder coated and rebuilt.

Not done a update for a while! The car stayed and I bought a new f10 for family duties. The e21 in low and slow mode ended in tears with me stranded in the city centre with my 7 month old son and the contents of the sump spread across the carriageway ( though whilst stranded I lost count of the no of people who stopped to take pics of the car). The pain of low and slow made me decide to sell the wheels (hello Nas) raise the suspension and put the old bbs and toyos on and have some fun in the car. So as a proper shake down I've booked a track day for the start of feb where I shall give the thing a good thrashing and should things go well I will use it in June on the RICO rally where me and 79 other cars chase across Europe ending with a extra 2 day stop off at the end at the Ring my favourite place on the planet. The e21 will be by far the oldest car on the rally but I hope it might surprise a few fellow competitors .

Pity how this started perhaps but nice plans, Rico Rally seems laid back, we might do something similar one day as well. This year's schedule is pretty full but might be a nice one to keep in mind for next year. Of course we need an extensive report!

Having driven the slug on the road I know you can go too low with these cars. In the case of the slug too solid bushed firm springed as well! A bit of drop to lose the big gap is all you need to look good.

BTW got your message about Anglesey but I am working that weekend.

Got about 20 laps in then the diff went. It was out running new 911s on the straights though which made me smile.
Do the journey home was rather dull.



Thank fully I had a friend there to watch in a Audi s3 which he let me to use for the rest of the day.

Pity! Did you have a LSD fitted? Fresh oil? If it was just a stock open diff isn't not to much damage!
