Spare Parts Shops in UK - Need advice!!!

Post by Att »

Hello from Thailand,

I am currently restoring my 79 E21 in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I am after rubber and seal parts around the car as well as a new kidney grill. When I checked from many of BMW spare parts shops in Bangkok, they have to order directly from Germany, and they cost way more than I expected as these are special order. I believe BMW spare parts price should be much cheaper in Europe than Thailand (imported tax for auto parts over here is very expensive :wtf ).

As I will visit London in October for 12 days next month, I wonder if any of UK member can recommend me BMW spare part shops where I can place order and let them ship the shipment to my hotel in London. It doesn't need to be the shop in London, but anywhere in UK that can accept credit card payment and they willing to ship to my hotel address in London.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Try BMW Park Lane. They are in the centre of London,Mayfair, and the showroom is well worth a visit.Ask them nicely and they might give you a dealer sticker.Their website had or had a link to their Classic Parts Department.
Good Luck and have a great time.

There's one out there with my name on it.

If you PM me a list of the parts you want I can ask Park Lane to check availability, to make sure you're able to get them before you return home.

Hi Gaz, Thank you so much for your recommendation. This is a useful information. The hotel where I will be staying is not far from BMW Park Lane, just only a few stations away!!! :boogie

I should have plan this earlier, somehow, I didn't think of buying spared parts for my E21 while I will be in London up until now. :?
